We have always felt led to adoption and through some serious prayer and talking with elders and growth group leaders we felt led to start with domestic adoption now. Adoption has always been a passion for me (Kirsten) and more recently I have just seen the evidence of God’s grace and purpose for adoption in our lives. We also believe that it is amazing to see how God works through adoption. To understand that we are adopted into His family is just an amazing picture of Grace and we are looking forward to seeing that picture throughout this process.
When we got married we had several conversations about when and how we would start and grow our family. We both believed that we would start our family early on and that we would start through biological children. Adoption was the way we wanted to grow our family in order to proclaim that adoption is not plan B when things don’t work biologically but rather a plan A because we know that our theology calls us to care for the orphan and needy. While we made plans we know that God’s plans are far above ours. This year God graciously brought us to a point where we realized that instead of asking God for our next step we had held on to our timeline. We are so excited as we step into God’s grace and pursue domestic adoption.

Have you tried Fresh Coffee before?
Our coffee beans are purchased fresh and in season from the farmer. For example, when our Colombian partner harvests their coffee and finishes the drying process, we import the dried green coffee beans as soon as possible. Once the beans arrive, we small batch roast them. When we say fresh, we mean fresh.
We also believe that beans are roasted to bring out their original flavor. Each bean has different flavor notes and requires different roast temperatures and times. Roasting in small batches allows us to roast each bean to its full potential! Is the coffee your currently drinking over roasted? Probably so. Most roasters tend to over roast because they are using old, out of season beans. That’s why your coffee tastes burnt.
Most specialty coffee retails for $20-$25 per bag. Our prices are $10-$15 per bag less than that. How can we do this? We are vertically integrated, meaning we cut out the middlemen to offer you a great product at a great price!
