To begin, we have always felt like we would like to adopt. For lack of a better word, we have felt called to it for many years. We believe that the Lord has been planning on the completion of our family through adoption. Additionally, her current mother adopted Rachel when her biological mother passed away and she feels like this gives her a unique insight into what adoption entails. Additionally, we did discover that we cannot have children biologically, and this has only confirmed what we felt in our hearts for years. Almost four years ago we adopted our son Henry from Houston, Texas. Adding him to our family has been a joy too great to describe in words. We have sense joined an adoption ministry called Replanted and have spent a lot of energy on racial reconciliation (as our son is African American and we are Caucasian) and building a community of support around our son. As we have journeyed with him through his story of adoption, we have realized that our family is not yet complete. We again feel called to adopt and we are using the same Agency that we used to help Henry join our family.

Have you tried Fresh Coffee before?
Our coffee beans are purchased fresh and in season from the farmer. For example, when our Colombian partner harvests their coffee and finishes the drying process, we import the dried green coffee beans as soon as possible. Once the beans arrive, we small batch roast them. When we say fresh, we mean fresh.
We also believe that beans are roasted to bring out their original flavor. Each bean has different flavor notes and requires different roast temperatures and times. Roasting in small batches allows us to roast each bean to its full potential! Is the coffee your currently drinking over roasted? Probably so. Most roasters tend to over roast because they are using old, out of season beans. That’s why your coffee tastes burnt.
Most specialty coffee retails for $20-$25 per bag. Our prices are $10-$15 per bag less than that. How can we do this? We are vertically integrated, meaning we cut out the middlemen to offer you a great product at a great price!
